Thefts Reported IN PCE
During the last few weeks, several residents have reported property thefts.

Several weeks ago, a resident reported having his childrens' vehicles broken into while parked on the side of Forest Oaks Drive. Another resident recently reported theft of the family vehicle parked in front of the home while over the weekend another resident reported theft of approximately $1,200 of property from his garage in the early morning hours of Saturday/Sunday, Mar.1/Mar.2. The garage was closed at the time.

The Poplar Creek Estates Board of Directors advises all residents to take note of these thefts and secure property accordingly.

Some steps which can be taken are to park vehicles in garages. If a vehicle must be left parked outside, ensure that it is locked when unattended and that any valuables (purses, CD's, packages, etc.) are either taken inside or secured out of sight. Garages should not be left open and unattended as thefts can occur during daytime hours.

We ask that residents be vigilant of suspicious behaivor and that it be reported immediately to Metro Police.
