Subarea 6 Meeting Notes
Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the Bellevue Middle School Cafeteria.

The first Bellevue Plan Update Steering Committee meeting was held Thursday March 7 at the Bellevue Middle School. The meeting was extremely well attended, with over 130 participants interested in serving on the committee. Those in attendance agreed to meet twice a month, on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. Because of the large number of participants, we have decided to refer to the participants as a work group rather than a steering committee. The work group will meet a total of eight times over the next few months. The meeting schedule is as follows:

At our first meeting, we agreed upon the format for the meetings, the schedule and the preferred meeting times. We discussed the upcoming Charrette, an intensive planning session conducted over a four-day period from Monday March 25th through Thursday March 28th. Participants then held a round-table identification of issues they felt important to have addressed as part of the Subarea 6 Plan Update. For our next meeting, we will concentrate on the charrette objectives. We will review the issues list, formulate a vision and goals for the plan update, and go over the detailed charrette schedule. The issues list will be organized according to topic and published with the next meeting notice and meeting agenda. We appreciate the time and effort of everyone that attended Thursday’s meeting, and welcome all interested community members to attend the next meeting on Tuesday, March 19th.

Councilman David Rosenberg has made the PCE Board aware of a public input meeting about plans to build a cell tower at this site. Residents can learn more from the developers and share feedback directly. Please Monitor Councilman Rosenberg's Facebook Page for updates.
