Councilman Charlie Tygard has scheduled a special meeting with the residents of Poplar Creek Estates and the Colonies to discuss the future of the "Triangle" area where a Publix Commercial Center is proposed.
The Barclay Group has proposed the development of a commercial center, anchored by a Publix Supermarket on the land behind the existing Walgreen. The group has also agreed to extend Temple road from Highway 100 to Old Harding Road if the property is rezoned for commercial development.
