Major "Triangle" Development Proposed

















The Metropolitan Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at its regularly scheduled meeting on
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2004 AT 4 PM IN THE HOWARD AUDITORIUM, 700 SECOND AVENUE SOUTH to consider a proposed
amendment to the Bellevue Community Plan: 2003 Update for the area
outlined in black on the map.

The amendment request is to go from
Residential Low-Medium Density policy, which allows for residential development at densities between 2 and 4 dwelling units per acre, and
Natural Conservation policy, which allows for very low density
residential development, to Community Center policy, which allows for a
mixture of commercial, office, and residential uses, and Residential
Medium Density policy, which allows for residential development at
densities between 4 and 9 dwelling units per acre.

There will also be two community meetings to discuss the amendment request. The meetings will be held on Wednesday, September 22 and Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 6:30 PM in the Harpeth Valley Elementary School cafeteria.
